M&M to open a new facility in Lordstown, Ohio

The new location will provide expedited service to customers in the Northeast and Midwest regions of the U.S. This plant will be an addition to M&M’s three other facilities in Chattanooga, TN and Phoenix, AZ.

The plant’s strategically selected location is placed in close proximity to several interstate highways, providing an ideal site for transporting pails across the region. The former Magna plant discontinued their operations at this site due to the General Motors assembly plant closure. Sitting on over 15 acres and built in 2004, the 81,000 square foot M&M facility will house brand new manufacturing machinery with plans for further expansion.

“We are very fortunate to have acquired the property in Lordstown, Ohio and are excited to put it to work for our customers. Our goal is to begin manufacturing at this location late summer 2021,” says Glenn Morris, President & CEO at M&M Industries, Inc. “This expansion will allow us to not only better service customers in the Northeast, but also reduce current lead times.”

M&M has worked diligently with the Youngstown/Warren Chamber of Commerce and town officials to bring this plant location to fruition. The manufacturing facility plans to employ 106 employees at the end of five years.

Located 65 miles south of Cleveland and 75 miles north of Pittsburgh, Lordstown is a village in the town of Warren, Ohio.
