Responsible for performing product and material inspection and testing to ensure compliance with specifications. You will also use knowledge of quality control, production operations and documentation to participate in process improvements and investigations, when required.
As a member of the QA self-directed teams you will be responsible for taking action to support the department and company goals.
M & M Industries is looking for operators that can work 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off.
Operators are responsible for the assembling and packing pails or lids. Too correctly install handles or triggers into the product in a timely manner. Detail to quality is important to meet our customer’s standards. Be flexible and able to multi task as needed. Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions. Salary: $11.00 /hour
Reads and interprets complex engineering drawings and work-process documentation. Designs, builds, and repairs molds used to mass-produce plastic components. Builds precision mold components using conventional and numerically controlled metal-cutting machines and equipment, including saws, drills, grinders, lathes, mills, and electrical discharge machines.
Demonstrates confidence operating and maintaining a variety of conventional machine tools to cut, turn, mill, plane, drill, bore, and grind or otherwise shape work pieces to prescribed dimensions and finish.
Fabricates and assembles components using hand tools to ensure completed tools, dies, jigs or fixtures working properly. Uses precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers to check finished parts to make sure they measure up to specifications. Investigates and performs corrective measures to repair hot runner systems. Prepares work order inspection reports, interpreting areas of concern while referring to the bill of materials, standards and tolerances. Logs and maintains preventative maintenance documents in the tool binders.
Education or Experience
Certified Mold Maker preferred
Plastics and injection molding experience required with at least 5 years’ experience
Must have experience in supervision
Environment, Health & Safety experience preferred
ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System experience preferred

Position: Process Technician

Inspect all injection machines and associated equipment. Ensure that all specifications and standards are in technical compliance. Ensure all parts are running within quality specifications at a cycle rate that enables production demands to be met.
Position: Mold Setter
Reports to: Supervisor

Remove and install tool molds in plastic injection molding machines. Ensure molds are set in presses according to setup work instructions, setup sheets and in a timely manner.
All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eye glasses, ear plugs where required, etc.)

Required Experience and Skills:
Support manufacturing by maintaining and servicing equipment and mechanical elements of component production.
Assures skilled and timely support to manufacturing customers.
Works with quality, materials, and other support departments to meet all targeted goals.

Responsible for pulling material that is needed to keep the printing presses running. Wrap the pallets after printing for shipping. Scan any movements of pallets using a hand held RF scanner to assure that locations and inventory levels are correct.
Pallet pullers are responsible for the pulling and replacing the pallets that have the completed number of parts on it using a manual pallet jack. Manually band the product when requested before taking to the wrapping area.
